Education & Early Experience
Melina Moraiti is a graduate of the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. From the early years of her studies she has worked alongside established dentists of various specialties in Greece and abroad (USA, Belgium, Spain).
Specialization & Certifications
From 2015 to 2019, she completed a postgraduate program and obtained the specialty of Orthodontics (MSc in Advanced Orthodontics & Orthopedics) from the European University of Madrid (Universidad Europea de Madrid). She was officially certified as an Invisalign doctor (Invisalign DIAMOND provider) and is a graduate of the Master in Invisible Orthodontics (Invisalign® System), under Dr. Arturo Vela. She was also trained and certified in the application of fixed lingual brackets with the digital Incognito method. In 2015 she trained in Germany and was certified in the Invisible Orthodontics method using “Clear Aligner” transparent aligners.
Research & Publications
She has been awarded for her research work and has participated in presentations at international conferences, as well as published articles in scientific journals.
Athens Dental Care
Since 2019, she organized and staffed Athens Dental Care according to international orthodontic practice protocols and practices orthodontics at our clinic.
Social Contribution
She is an active member of major NGOs, including “Doctors of the World”, “Actionaid” and the “Symplefsi” team, providing free dental care to socially excluded groups in her spare time.
