Penelope Giakoumaki was born in Athens. From a young age she felt drawn to health sciences, and her desire to help people led her to the field of dentistry.
Education & Early Professional Experience
She studied Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with honors. She then completed postgraduate studies in Orthodontics, specializing in the treatment of children and adults.
Career Start & Clinical Experience
She began her clinical career at private practices in Athens, gaining experience in complex orthodontic cases. Her approach combines evidence-based knowledge with patient-centered care.
Clinic Foundation & International Activity
Co-founder of Athens Dental Care, she has shaped a clinic based on trust and transparency. She regularly participates in international orthodontic conferences and follows advances in digital orthodontics.
Memberships, Publications & Social Contribution
Member of the Hellenic Orthodontic Society and the European Orthodontic Society. She contributes voluntarily to oral health initiatives for vulnerable populations.
