Maria Tziourtzia was born in Veroia and grew up in Germany. Her love for Greece made her return from Dortmund, Germany, after completing her secondary education, to Greece to study at the Dentistry School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Throughout her studies she attended surgeries in university clinics in the departments of Stomatology, Maxillofacial Surgery and Periodontology, with a special interest in implant placement. She has worked as a dental assistant in dental clinics, both in Thessaloniki and Dortmund, Germany. She has also presented papers on dental topics at the University of Thessaloniki and attends dental conferences in Athens and Thessaloniki.
Since 2015, she has been working as an orthodontic assistant at Athens Dental Care.

“Invisible orthodontics” is the name of the new method of restoring orthodontic problems without braces, with the use of transparent aligners that progressively move the teeth to the desired position using high technology and computers.
With the help of orthodontics, we can restore occlusal imperfections and give the mouth its ideal aesthetic version, correct facial proportions, healthy teeth, better chewing, better articulation and therefore better health.
Preventive Orthodontics for children under the age of 12, is designed to prevent the development of a future orthodontic problem or to suppress it at an earlier age. Most commonly, it corrects skeletal problems of the jaws and the lack of space for permanent teeth to erupt.
