Tatiana Glinou was born in Athens and graduated from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After obtaining her degree as a Dental Surgeon, she continued her studies in the postgraduate program of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with specialization in Periodontology and Implantology.
For five years she has been a scientific collaborator of the Athens´ University in the field of Periodontology, and since 2003 she has been working as a self-employed dentist. Since 2009 she has been exclusively engaged in the practice of Periodontology and Implantology in her private clinic and as an external partner at Athens Dental Care.
Since 1999 she has attended numerous scientific conferences, including Greek Dental Congresses, Periodontology seminars of the Greek Periodontological Society, clinical seminars, symposiums and scientific conferences of the Society of Odontological Research, workshops of the Hellenic Society of Osseointegration and the Dental Association of Attica, the 1st National and International Conference of the Hellenic Society of Laser Endodontic Applications, the 1st National and International Congress of the Hellenic Society of Laser Endodontic Applications, the 1st and 2nd Panhellenic Congress of Periodontology of the Hellenic Association of Periodontologists, the 1st and 2nd Hellenic ITI Congress as well as international conferences (IADR: Annual meeting of International Association for Dental Research- Continental European and Israeli Divisions, Thessaloniki 2007) and Pan-European Periodontology Conferences (Europerio 5, Madrid, 2006 and Europerio 6, Stockholm, 2009).
She has worked as a volunteer dentist at the Dental Department of the Athens Naval Hospital. Also, in the context of her postgraduate thesis she provided periodontal treatment to kidney patients undergoing dialysis with artificial kidney at the Asclepion Voula General Hospital.
